Introduction
MINUTES OF THE STOKE POGES HR COMMITTEE MEETING HELD ON MONDAY 1 JUNE 2026 AT 8.40PM FOLLOWING THE FINANCE MEETING, IN THE LIONEL RIGBY ROOM AT THE VILLAGE CENTRE, ROGERS LANE, STOKE POGES, SL2 4LP.
Present: Cllr Harwood (Chair), Cllr Carter and Cllr Crocker.
In Attendance: Mrs J Simmonds (Clerk/Legal & Financial Officer)

001/HR/26- To Elect a chairman for the coming year.
Cllr Carter proposed Cllr Harwood to be Chairman, this was seconded by Cllr Crocker. RESOLVED
002/HR/26 - To Elect a Vice Chairman for the coming year.
Cllr Harwood proposed Cllr Crocker to be Vice Chair, this was seconded by Cllr Carter. RESOLVED.
003/HR/26 - Apologies and Acceptance for Absence
None.
004/HR/26 - Declarations of Interest
Members to declare any personal interest in any item of business as defined in the Code of Conduct 2021. If that interest is a disclosable pecuniary interest as defined in the Code, the member should withdraw from the meeting for that item.

005/HR/26 - Minutes
RESOLVED to approve the minutes of the Council meeting held on 20 January 2026 which were signed by the Chairman.
006/HR/26 Exclusion of the Press & Public
Public Bodies (Admission to Meetings) Act 1960 RESOLVED to exclude the press and public from the following business because publicity would prejudice the public interest by reason of the confidential nature of the business.
007/HR/26 – Review Procedure Documents. To discuss and make any decisions.
Job Description Clerk & RFO. Draft previously circulated – Brought back from last meeting, Clerk has not sat down with Cllr Harwood as proposed before this meeting. RESOLVED to agree by all to defer to the next meeting, Cllr Harwood, Crocker and the Clerk to meet in August.

008/HR/26 – Policies and Standing Orders
NOTED that updated policies and standing orders have been dealt with under Finance and Full Parish Committees.

AGREED by all that research needs to be done, a meeting to brainstorm and then bring back to next meeting to decide.
